Leah Keiser is honored to join the cast for “An Evening on Ice”! This special event is being presented by the US Athletic Foundation and Los Angeles Ice Theater Inc. More information is available here.
Welcome to my Website. After a disappointing season, I did a lot of soul searching. I realized that falling down is just a part of life, but getting up is living. I love skating and I can’t wait to get up early every day to get back on the ice.
This season, I started to train with Christa Fassi in addition to Frank Carroll. Both Frank and Christa’s experience and expertise had made a big difference in my skating. I am working on a few new jumps and can’t wait to do them in competition. During my off season, I started working on ice dancing. I am on Pre-silver right now, still a long way to go, but I do feel a big improvement on my edges and skating skills. Hope it shows in my new program.
I am very fortunate to have the opportunity to work with Lori Nichol for both short and long for the new season. Lori’s program is very difficult and it took me a long time to put it together, but I am confident that they will be great and I can’t wait to showcase them.
Can’t believe it’s April already and my competition season just about to begin. I will keep you all posted on my new progress. Keep on writing to me. Your love and encouragement mean so much, especially during those tough times.
Love,
Leah
There is an article on the website Golden Skate about Leah, check it out!
Thank you so much for visiting my website! I plan on having this site regularly updated about my skating, so please subscribe (in the box to the right of this column) so that you can get contacted whenever I have news.
I am so excited about the upcoming season! I will be skating at the Junior level, so that means I will have to get used to doing longer programs now. My programs are almost ready to go, and I can’t wait to show them at competitions this summer. A big thank you to my choreographer, Cindy Stuart, who has done really great work again this year for me.
Working with Frank Carroll is wonderful, and it is an honor to work with such an amazing coach, especially since he coached my skating idol, Michelle Kwan. It means a long drive up into the mountains several times a week, but it is worth it. He has a really good eye for details, and has helped my skating a lot.
School is winding down for the year, and that means I can spend more time with my family and dogs. I can’t wait for the summer, since I will be having a lot of family fun, not to mention seeing all my friends at the summer competitions!
Thanks again for coming by, and contact me through this site if you have any questions for me. Bye!
